Mark Renfroe, DC
Mark Renfroe, DC is Board Certified in Chiropractic Medicine with the Gulf Coast Pain Institute.
Dr. Renfroe has extensive training and background in Chiropractic Care with a focus on Motor Vehicle Accident related care. Dr. Renfroe has more than 800 hours of training in whiplash trauma research through the Spine Research Institute of San Diego and has completed 5 years of low-speed crash reconstruction through the Center for Research into Automotive Safety and Health. During this time at the Spine Research Institute, Dr. Renfroe achieved his certification in the diagnosis and management of automobile accident injuries. Dr. Renfroe was also qualified as an Expert in Biomechanics by the Escambia County, Florida Circuit Court in 2010.
Prior to completing his extensive Motor Vehicle Accident and Whiplash training, Dr. Renfroe began his education locally at Pensacola Junior College, Pensacola, FL where he worked towards his Undergraduate Basic Science prerequisite studies for Chiropractic College. Dr. Renfroe successfully completed the program at Kennesaw College, Atlanta, Ga in December 1982. After finishing this program Dr. Renfroe obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College, Marietta, Ga., in June 1986. Upon completion of his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Dr. Renfroe returned to Pensacola where he began his successful private practice serving Pensacola and surrounding communities from June 1986 to 2012. Since 2012 Dr. Renfroe has continued to focus on Motor Vehicle Accident related patient care establishing himself as an expert in his field.

My father and brother were physicians.
What about your line of work do you find most rewarding and why?
Helping injured people by only using my hands.
In your opinion, what’s the most important factor in a provider-patient relationship?
Trust and confidentiality.
What are your top priorities with every patient?
Correctly diagnosing their condition and then rendering the best service I can in a timely manner.
Describe one of the top ways you ensure each patient receives the quality, personal health care he/she deserves.

What do you find most encouraging about the work you do?
Trying to continually expand my knowledge base so I can be the best doctor I can be.
What's your proudest moment as a provider?
There are many. I witness Miracles every day.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Spending time with my wife, Lisa. We both enjoy boating, the beach, and golf.
What aspect of your specialty is your favorite and why?
My specialty is whiplash trauma. I believe I offer a unique approach to managing those patients because of my specialty. There is a lot of medical mismanagement of those patients.
What are the topics or areas of your specialty that you most enjoy educating patients about?
Explaining their injuries and watching the improvement they obtain during their treatment program.
